1. Respect the rules of each channel
Channels owners may have specific rules set forth for their channels, and those should be followed.
2. Don't spam or flood
Don't spam or flood the IRC server; this includes rapidly connecting/disconnecting (having network issues is understandable, but if it becomes excessive then you should try to address the issue)
